Apologies to Kurtis - I hadn't seen his most recent message when I set
up the Birding-Aus Facebook Group. I didn't mean to undermine his new
Birding Australia Wide FB Group!
Anyway - I suggest we try one or the other using different settings,
and compare notes to see what works best.
If anyone is worried about using your own personal details, be
creative. I'd guess that most Facebook users have the date of birth
they'd like to have i.e. they knock a decade or two off their real age
(and the under-20s put a few years on!) - like anything else online,
don't give out too much personal information. NEVER include home
address, etc.
Let the games begin .... (now where have I heard that recently???)

Maybe a group and a link could be set up.
I like to think of Facebook as huge social experiment. Also allowing
opportunities for others to learn somethings in a different way.
Some of the
applications are crap but some can be used as learning tools.
The question of Gender and Age......statistics of course -
statistics!!
