Hi all,

Like some other bird species many shorebirds regurgitate pellets of indigestible material to help clear the gut. Recently I was lucky enough to be able to photograph an Eastern Curlew (Numenius madagascariensis) doing just that.

Please note that some sensitive birdwatchers may find some of the shots a little unpleasant.

And the full size versions of the photos could be called "large" by some people.
