Hi all,Like some other bird species many shorebirds regurgitate pellets of indigestible material to help clear the gut. Recently I was lucky enough to be able to photograph an Eastern Curlew (Numenius madagascariensis) doing just that. The sequence of photos can be seen by going to: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ptiloris463/sets/72157606990120955/Please note that some sensitive birdwatchers may find some of the shots a little unpleasant. And the full size versions of the photos could be called "large" by some people.
