Although not studing the species in detail my impression of birds, at Coutts
Crossing, north coast NSW, was that only the adult breeding pair remained in
the terrtory for any period of time, unlike the Pied Butcherbird which
communally breeds and has the young of previous years assisting at the nest.
I am also curious to know how you sexed the young birds Belinda?
