Hi all,

lately I have been hearing a bird call in the Field of Mars (Gladesville, Sydney) that I cant identify. I have been hearing it along the south side of Buffalo Ck in an inaccessable spot of riparian eucalypt and undergrowth. The call is a double note: chew, chew! Almost like that of a whipbird but without the lead up to the crack. It makes the double note and then stops for about 5-10 seconds and then makes the two notes again.

This may in fact be a very common species that I am not familiar with, but any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Max.
Sydney...
