Hi, I was wondering where it would be a good start to search for owls at night in Sydney's west, more specifically the Penrith-Richmond/Pitt Town areas and perhaps lower Blue Mountains? A mate of mine suggested that Pitt Town Bottoms may be OK as it has Australian Kestrel, Black-shouldered Kite and Brown Falcon, which are rodent hunters in the daytime, so it is a good assumption and educated guess that owls would perhaps proliferate at night? I was suggested Castlereagh Nature Reserve as another great spot, which is just around the corner from home. Regards Akos :) =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
