About half an hour into the walk to the lower portals this morning my  
wife got a good look at a spotted quail thrush foraging in the  
undergrowth of the forest. I was very disappointed not see it myself,  
I was laggardly down the track and it had wandered off before I got to  
the spot. ;-(
