About the only clearly identifiable bird I saw on my first foray on to Google's Street View was a Spotted Dove on the wire over the street a few doors up from my house :-) Go to 20 Reid Street, Northcote 3070, tilt the view so you can see the sky to the north, the flying rat is sitting right over the middle of the road in front of 18 Reid Street. I think there's a White-plumed Honeyeater just south of there on the wires, but Google's face recognition algorithm has smudged it to protect its privacy ... -- ++++++++++++ Lawrie Conole 28 Reid Street Northcote 3070 AUSTRALIA 0419588993 lconole at gmail dot com http://b.tinyurl.com/69qz34 ++++++++++++++++++++++++ =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
