Deep V wings would be most unusual for Black Kite! Not a Harrier?

This was a from the train observation, but I reckon the details are
pretty conclusive.
I observed a big black bird, bigger than a Raven, flying over Lapstone
yesterday. Deep V to the wings, and quite languid flight. I'm used to
seeing Square-Tails over our place, and thought it was initially, but
the tail was definitely forked, and forked much more strongly than a
folded Square-Tail. So Black Kite is my best suggestion. Any further
opinions?
