Greetings,
I also had a Grey Whistler in Yungaburra a few days ago. Not common here at all.

It was in a feeding aggregation which included Pied & Spectacled Monarchs, Dusky, Lewins and Macleay's Honeyeaters, Varied Triller, Drongo, Little Shirke-thrush and Fariy Gerrygones.

Good numbers on Bustards and both Cranes on the central and southern Atherton Tablelands at the moment.

The winter/dry season influx of raptors and kingfishers has continued. Red-backed Kingfishers sen in the last few days near Granite Gorge, Kairi, Yungaburra and Kaban. Blue-winged Kookaburras at Ravenshoe, Kaban, Hasties Swamp and Wlakamin. Saw a very beautiful pale phase Brown Falcon near Yungaburra two days ago. the female (white) Grey Goshawk from near Gumtree on Gillies is dead. A car I believe. The male is still often seen on the wires 1 km west of Yungaburra from 1630.

Regards,
Alan
