Hi Folks,

The shark I saw last week was most likely a Dusky Whaler (not Thresher as
previously thought). Thanks to Hamish at Sydney Aquarium!

Cheers,

Graham

Hi there

This shark would most likely be a Dusky Whaler - Carcharinus obscurus. They
can groew large -4metres - and are common in this region. These sharks often
chase Australian salmon at this time of year.

                                                               Regards,

                                                              Hamish
