I've been in Brisbane for two and a half years now, and have heard from several birders here that BBBQs were seen on a few occasions at Moggill State Forest, at Mill Road, a few years back. Moggill is on the south side of the Brisbane Forest Park, not too far from Enoggora as the quail flies. This is further evidence that they may well be hanging on close to Brisbane.
