I don't know that book, but Stephen Debus's book "The Birds of Prey of
Australia" - Oxford Uni Press 1998, is an excellent guide.

Mine's a paperback, same size as a Reader's Digest (though not as thick)
and called "Raptor Identification. A Field Guide to the Identification
of Australian Birds of Prey" by the same author so likely to be the same
I reckon.
I picked it up at South Melbourne Market for seven bucks. At that price
it's not bad.

I have a field guide called "Which bird of prey is that? A field guide
to the identification of Australian birds of prey" by Gordon Beruldsen.
In searching for comments about this book on the web I can only find
references to one called "Raptor Identification. A Field Guide to the
Identification of Australian Birds of Prey" by the same author.
Is it the same book, and if so, why the name change? Is it a good book?
Is there a better book?
