G'day AllThere is one record of Australian Pelicans attempting to breed in the Solomon Islands. It was in 1952 on Santa Anna and was reported in: Cain, A.J. & I.C.J. Galbraith. 1956. Field notes on birds of the eastern Solomon Islands. Ibis 98: 100-134, 262-295. They fly to parts of New Guinea regularly.
