Hi Folks,

A bit of help please.

I was at Price Saltfields, South Australia, last Tuesday and came across a
group of Egrets. There were Little (obvious), Great (also obvious) and a
number (4) of ¾ sized Yellow-billed Egrets (only slightly larger than the
little but fully developed). I was not close enough to check the face
properly but would I be correct in assuming these to be juvenile Great
rather than Intermediate? I have never seen Int. Egret in SA and unsure of
the status. If I was in Darwin I would have just confidently said
Intermediate.

Your thoughts?

By the way there are still huge numbers of waders there and some nice
coloured ones too!!
