I was pleased to see a trio of Bush Thickknees at Spring Hill Corner
[overlooking the Roma St railway station, SEQ] at lunchtime
yesterday. While there has been a pair that put on periodic
appearances in the Albert St parklands, I rarely find them. There was
a nesting Thickknee in the RS Gardens, so perhaps the third bird is
the resulting offspring.
I was even more pleased to hear a Bush Thickknee calling in the early hours of this morning - it's the first one I've heard calling in Brisbane and the first one I've come across in my part of town. Regards, Laurie. =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
