Hi Lars,
That's fine for locals with local knowledge, but my friend believes they
were targeted because they were in a tourist van. If these people target
tourists specifically then your points aren't necessarily accurate. I think
it's best if people are aware of potential risk areas so they can make sure
they don't leave valuables in their car at these places.
