Frigate-bird in the Lower Hunter Estuary NSW

Hi Birders,

A Frigate-bird was seen briefly overhead at a distance of 60 metres today at 
1100 hrs when rain  had driven 13 participants of a Follow That Bird Tour, 
back towards the coach in the carpark at the mangrove board walk, Ash 
Island.  The bird circled twice and then disappeared further up the South 
Arm of the Hunter River. We believe that it was an immature Greater 
Frigate-bird. Before finalising our report I would be interested in hearing 
from anyone who may have seen the same bird in Newcastle Harbour. There are 
very few records for Greater Frigate-birds in NSW, Lesser Frigate-birds are 
more common.
