Mick says this bird was very active so that strongly indicates Little Egret. 
Intermediates are more phlegmatic. I saw a Little Egret with similar bill 
colouration about two months ago at Melbourne's Eastern Treatment Plant but 
that had plumes and typical leg colour. Andrew & I are reassessing the Egret at 
Edithvale. One of the party has photos.
