The current status of Rusty-tailed Gerygone *Gerygone ruficauda* appears to be confused. A search on the web does not give a coherent picture. Can anyone give me a current status. Some seem to regard this as an invalid taxon, given the few specimens. Does anyone know when it was last recorded?
