Contrary to opinion expressed in these pages a Pardalote at 7.5 to 9 grams of high protein flesh, delicate calcium lacework, assorted sweetmeats in a keratin basket would represent the ideal mid morning canapé for the majority of Oz raptors. Far superior to the Hungrycricket, Cicadaway or McMoth that is the standard bill of fare for the gastronomically straightened species.
