There have been at least three birds out on Ash Island, based on the
plumage variations reported, and two birds were seen together on Friday
afternoon. I know that some people dipped on Saturday but they were
looking in the middle of the day and most sightings seem to be in the
mornings or getting on for dusk. I haven't had any news, positive or
otherwise, since Saturday.

The birds have been very wary and it seems that not many people have had
them for long before they have flown off. But they keep coming back to
Wagtail Way eventually.

Just wondering, does anyone know if the Eastern Yellow Wagtail that was
seen on Wagtail Way, Ash Island near Newcastle NSW last Wednesday Feb
20th is still there? ThanksMatt Hinze
