Dave and Peter

The water level was around 0.9m last night and, from my previous visit, the
rain we've had today would have the level up around the 1.5m mark by now
and the Crakes and Rails would be back among the reeds.

I'm really pleased to have visited the pond and to know that there is such
interesting bird life in what one could easily assume to be a barren
landscape.

Keep up the reports and I may be inspired to make another visit.

Regards

David
