Hello everyone,

" the five member Board of a new group in Tidewater, New Earth Education.
This group will be getting nonprofit status and working in the area of
sustainable solutions for local people: green building, organic growing, more
localization of food, etc."

Although that is from the USA, it seems akin to the situation in Australia,
to me.

How do these things impact on local wildlife - with reference to Australia of
course, and does it automatically then create conflict with individuals or
groups making a living importing and exporting?

If stereotypes are removed what remains?

Can the principals effectively be both local and global, or is it dictatorial
to distinguish between them?

I feel a little uncertain because of not mentioning birds often enough in
this post, that it may be seen as too far off topic..

   Victoria.
