Hello all,

Do you think it would be possible and a good idea to have discussions with
'dog owner groups' about this issue?

How likely do you think it might be for such groups with websites, to include
links that show the most vulnerable wildlife that needs protecting?

I wonder if this could be at least as powerful a message as pictures of
aggressive-looking canines - or felines - with words about keeping their
movements restricted.

Paying a fine will not always lead to behaviour change.

It would probably be useful [ideally from a source not seen as too biased one
way or the other] to have a widely-spread 'census' of opinions about attitudes
to pets.

Do people still make much money with bird smuggling?

It is really difficult not to seem preachy about any issue about which any one
of us feels strongly.
