Hi all, Chris Charles & myself did a thorough search of Timbrell park for the Bush Stone-curlew this morning with no success. Went to Mason park, to see what was on offer, most of the usual suspects were present including, 17 Sharp-tailed & 3 Curlew Sandpiper, 1 Pacific Golden Plover, BW Stilts - many pairs with immatures, Black-fronted Dotterels courting, red-rumped parrot and more common species. Did not see the Pectoral Sandpiper. A good morning's birding despite not finding the BS Curlew.
