Thanks so much to Mike Carter and all others for your helpful and expert advice - Yellow-rumped Thornbill it is! regards David Taylor Begin forwarded message: From: "Moorhead Family" <> Date: 12 February 2008 6:17:24 PMTo: "Mike Carter" <>, <>, "Jeff Davies" <>, "Danny Rogers" <>, "Richard Loyn" <>, "Rohan Clarke" <>, "Peter Lansley" <>, "Andrew Silcocks" <>Cc: "David Taylor" <> Subject: Re: Help with a bird ID please. ANOTHER THORNBILL Prior to reading other responses I too believe it to be YRT Adding only that our YRT's are most commonly seen in casuarinas Also, if Richard remembers when he saw them; they call louder and more incesantly than YT and BRT (both of which we see regularly) Cheers, Bill |
