Further to the comments re gang gangs, I saw a pair this morning at Bridge Rd, Blaxland (lower Blue Mountains, altitude 240 m), and last saturday a Square-tailed Kite flew over the same location. Glossy Black Cockatoos have also been heard there in the last 2 weeks. Also a single Spotted Quail-thrush on the Mt Hay Road today (upper Blue Mountains).
