Arwen, A scope is pretty necessary most times - but, occasionally in the right wind conditions, sea birds will come pretty close. Dress for the weather!!! Organisations such as Cumberland Bird Observers Club, www.cboc.org.au ,have an annual outing to Magic Point, and you'll be able to share someone's scope. Saturday, 21st June, is the next one - a good time for Albatross. Visitors always welcome. cheers Peter Madvig |
