The only difference is that in areas where the Common Myna is not yet
established it might be possible to eliminate them. But it would take
constant effort.
Otherwise it's just our normal human foolishness.

The arguments as to the futility of culling corellas seem to be good coin to
me. I particularly like the analogy of the fist in water. However some weeks
ago there was an equally vociferous debate about the efficacy of culling
Common (Indian) Mynas. Is there something specific about the biology of the
Myna that means it can successfully be culled and therefore we don't need to
worry about the landscape it (or Noisy and Bell Miners, starlings ad
nauseum) seems to thrive in? Hmmm.....
