You'll get Long-tailed Finches and  Great Bowerbirds at the BBO itself :-) 
And, the waders. of cource........!!!!
Derby has a wetland/sewerage works which is supposed to be good.
Your other bird wishes:-  you'll need to go further into the Kimberley, i.e. 
Mornington Station, run by the A.W.C. But, at that time of year??? Might not 
be open for visitors yet, and you could have problems getting in.
