Looking at Christidis & Boles it is interesting that they place the 
Button-quails (Turnicidae) in Charadriiformes (between Scolopacidae & 
Glareolidae - Sandpipers & Pratincoles). I have not seen this before though 
they list a few recent references. Going on this, the recent Shorebirds of 
Australia should have also included Button-quails as well as the 
Plains-wanderer (which is put between Charadriidae & Jacanidae - Plovers & 
Jacanas in the same order).
