Common Mynas

G'day Peter

I'm sure someone will tell us the story of the Myna release in the ACT.

I lived there in 1995 and 1996 and Mynas were NOT easy to find. In fact I
don't recall seeing one. There were one or two places you could go
looking for them if you wanted them on your ACT list (I didn't).

Next time I returned in about 2001 they were everywhere.

There are none in Hamilton (sw Vic) but they occasionally turn up not too
far away (Warrnambool, Ballarat, Casterton). I hope I never see them here
because we still have good numbers of native species in town.

Cheers
Steve
