My anger of birds yesterday morning (at Coutts Crossing, north coast NSW) involved a Satin Bowerbird and three Blue-faced Honeyeaters calling in alarm at a beautiful Common Tree Snake draped over the fronds of our neighbour's Queen (Cocos) Palm. I have tried to encourage the local reptiles to be more discerning and to only live in local native plants but they are as stubborn as some people who persist in planting such weeds!!
