I haven't had this happen before- Was working today (NW of Toronto, NSW Central Coast) in scrubby woodland collecting vegetation data and noticed a young Wedgy at about 200-300m. Next thing it was down checking me out and did 4-5 tight circles around me at tree-top height, I could hear the heavy wing beats. Gradually the circles widened and it was off again. Happy xmas birding.
