A photo of a Pitta taken in a garden in Derby, WA, this morning has been received by Birds Australia. We think it is a Blue-winged. It is at the home of Jenny Hughes, Kimberley Adventure Tours, and may have arrived overnight. Some birders are already enroute to see it and in spite of it being a garden bird (relevant to a recent comment on this forum), BARC is very interested in it.
