Today at 7 am I flushed a little bittern at Walka Waterworks. Walka . Walka waterworks is a reserve in Maitland. To find it if you get to the Court house, and the traffic lights there, the next turn to the right coming from the south will direct you to WWW. The Little Bittern was on the little island along the wall in the north of Walka Waterworks, it flushed then flew across the lagoon into the reeds below the last willow on the left , it did its Bittern stance for at least 2 minutes then it crept into the reeds there. It was a male bird. lorna Mee --------------------------------- Make the switch to the world's best email.
