Further to my earlier message, I have been reminded of a 2002 sighting of a White-headed Pigeon at De Motts Road Anakie, near the Brisbane Ranges. John Bottomley and Jocelyn Calvert noted the bird perched 12m up in a stringbark in woodland on 30/9/2002. This was noted as the first record for the Geelong Region and west of Melbourne.
