Hi Folks (even those who pilfer data…) Down at high tide this afternoon, all the normal stuff plus a White-Winged Black Tern. This is the third in 3 years, each in November, all in the company of Common Terns. Diminutive, very smutty cap on forehead, white collar, short tail, curved very dark-grey primaries, oddly upwardly pointing black sharp bill, looks neckless. Oh yes, and a flock of 350 Little Terns flying in formation, forming the letters BBCA… Toodleypippley birderinos, Graham Buchan No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
