We do not hold Inland Dotterel and nor does Featherdale. And indeed if
we did, they'd be banded. It's conceivable but in our view unlikely that
this species is in private aviculture (where they also should be
banded). Besides, looks like a juvenile - in our view the wise twitcher
would persue this one.

Sure, but wouldn't a zoo escapee be banded?
