Hi all, Yet another interesting bird turning up at Altona Coastal Park - a single Black-tailed Native-Hen wandering around next to Kororoit Creek near the ford on Wednesday morning (seen from the train!). Peter Shute reported a possible sighting of this species at the beginning of the month and this confirms it. I guess we are in for a year where they are in plague proportions on the coast of Victoria.
