Morning,
The Painted Snipe are offering good views this morning in Cove Road.
Five of them were clearly identifiable from the road alongside the fence
which runs along the left side of the dam (this was around 5.30am). I
managed to get identifiable pics, though not good. Half a dozen Cotton
Pygmy Geese are present (have seen them there many times, and think they
may have taken up residence), along with Red-kneed Dotterel.
At the next small dam closer to the Glasshouse Mtns (on a property
signed Robene), a couple of Red-knees were present with 2 Latham's
Snipe. And plenty of other waterbirds everywhere. It was a great way to
begin a perfect day.
Cheers,
Jill
