Hi,sorry for the late posting; but i have only recently returned from a short Bornean birding trip and have taken a while to get organised......... Last weekend, to my surprise, i recorded a Black honeyeater at a Baptist Holiday Camp in Mapleton, SE Qld. Mapleton is on a hill [c. 30km from the coast] and the main vegetation would be wet schlerophyll - not exactly typical Black HE country. It was seen in a bunch of flowering casuarinas. Tried to find it again later in the day with no success. Well, that's birding, cheers for now, Ken Ken Cross 1 Daymar Road Mapleton 4560 Qld Australia07 54457881 =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
