Barry asks: "Am I being paranoid or is this a realistic concern?" Hard to answer that apart from repeating the acronym about fear as False Expectations Appearing Real. (I'm not sure if this will go through with the first 4 letters in bold). I'd think by reason of their colour loss and conspicuousness the birds are more likely to be targeted by the local Brown Goshawks, cats or foxes than "unscrupulous people". Philip |
