Driving down Anzac Highway yesterday morning (0910hr),
a pale turtle-dove flew up and landed on the power lines crossing
Anzac Highway where it intersects Beckman Street.

As I passed it, I could clearly see the fine dark ring around the back
of the neck, much like the many Eurasian and African Collared Doves
I've seen elsewhere.

I don't know where the other Adelaide records are from, I seem to
remember some from earlier this year, but it's the first time I've
seen this "species".  Hopefully it's not on the increase…
