I'll guess that you are right Chris; the pics are most likely of White-winged Triller. I saw an identical one to the pics in Mulgoa last week, at a site frequented by Jacky Winters. As in the photos, that bird had a brownish cap which I put down to the light but it sowed some doubt. The wing pattern wasn't obvious either. Several adults were there yesterday, and their jizz was the same as the bird in question. Cheers Michael |
