There was a WHITE-NECKED (Pacific) HERON feeding alongside a White-faced Heron in a shallow pond in Mulgoa Valley this morning, in the small fenced-off paddock over the road from the Notre Dame entry. MASKED LAPWINGS hatched two chicks yesterday, visible near the dam in front of the house at the bottom of Mayfair Rd.
