There have been reports of a Common Koel at Ocean Grove (near
Geelong, VIC) in recent weeks. I heard it tonight at about 6.40 pm,
calling from somewhere near the intersection of Shell and Bonnyvale
Roads. This is a few Km east of its previously reported locations.
I couldn't locate the bird when I went to look for it, and it didn't
call again.
