Last week I noticed a Rufous Fantail in the Roma St Parklands [1 km
from the Brisbane GPO]. It was there again today, so I suspect it has
taken up residence. Rufous Fantails are not a species I would expect
to find that close to the CBD. Have other people noticed them either
in a concrete jungle or the urban parklands fringing that jungle?
On a related front, at least one of the eggs in the Brown Honeyeater nest beside the "lake" at the parklands has hatched. Regards, Laurie. =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
