Hello all,

Well, its been quite a while but I've finally put some new images up on my website (www.wildlifing.com). A combination of work and computer crashes has prevented me from doing much on the site as well as less photography than I would have liked but full steam ahead from now on (fingers crossed).

The new images are mainly seabird shots from a pelagic boat trip off Eaglehawk Neck (Tasman Peninsula, south-eastern Tasmania) that was organised by Chis Sanderson about a month ago.

There is a page of Shy Albatross shots as well as some of Royal Albatross, Buller's Albatross, Yellow-nosed ALbatross, Northern and Southern Giant-Petrel and White-headed Petrel. I've also added some Australian Fur Seal photos, some from about a week ago- seals basking in the sun at mid-day- it looked very relaxing. I was tempted to jump in with them except I suspect the water was actually pretty cold!

Watched a gorgeous male Pink Robin at the Tahune Airwalk (south-eastern Tasmania) yesterday.

This morning I have been entertained by a pair of Brown Thornbills that have built a nest in some sort of daisy bush that is right up against my house, just outside my kitchen window. Perfect position actually- very well sheltered from the wind. Striated Pardalotes are also nesting in a burrow on a small landslip just behind my house. So, spring is well and truly sprung!

Cheers

Mick Todd
