Russell can you post this for me.

Last weekend I encountered a party of at least three Fairy Gerygones in vine scrub near my property at Kenilworth Bluff, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Despite intensive bird surveys in the Conondales region over many years, the species has not been previously recorded, although it has been regular in the Kin Kin area, not very far to the north. The Kenilworth record would be a southerly extention of range if the species had not been recorded recently further south on Bribie Island. This may be another example of an essentially northern species extending its range southwards, as the Dusky Honeyeater appears to be doing.
